The problem

A darts tournament needs more than a schedule: registrations, callers, scores and tournament progression have to stay in sync during play, including on phones.

My contribution

A personal product covering application design, React development, data modelling, role-based access and deployment. Organisers, players and spectators have distinct tasks and views.

Technical decision

Every dart is recorded individually. Scores produce the final result, which feeds into the bracket. A caller assignment determines who can score a match, and undo operations must correct that same state.

Implementation

React and TypeScript power the interface; Supabase provides authentication, PostgreSQL and live updates. The mobile caller records singles, doubles, triples, bull and misses. Tests cover permissions and core tournament workflows.

Outcome

A published web app with group stages, brackets, individual-dart scoring, player statistics and cost planning. An Android version wraps the same web application with Capacitor. Screenshots use demo data.

Limitations and trade-offs

A live app needs to account for lost connections, corrections and concurrent use. The implementation is verifiable; I do not claim saved organiser time or real participant numbers without measurements.
